Yungblud Autographed Photographic Print

Caught in mid-air with a guitar strapped across his chest, Yungblud is captured at full tilt in this live photograph by Tom Pallant, taken at Chicago's Riviera Theatre. Produced for Teenage Cancer Trust's Good Energy series, the A2 print is limited to 100 copies, each individually hand signed by Yungblud.

Since breaking through with his early singles and 2018 debut EP, Yungblud has built much of his reputation around the intensity of his live shows. Albums including 21st Century Liability, weird!, YUNGBLUD and Idols have taken that audience from clubs to festivals and arenas, but the physicality of those performances has remained a constant.

Pallant catches that perfectly here. Yungblud is suspended above the stage, knees bent and boots clear of the floor, still gripping his guitar as he launches himself beside the microphone stand. The photograph freezes an action that would have lasted a fraction of a second perfectly and preserves it for eternity.

Tom Pallant has worked closely with Yungblud over a number of years, photographing him both on stage and away from it. That familiarity is valuable in live photography: knowing how an artist moves and performs makes it possible to anticipate moments rather than simply react to them. Here, Pallant's position low and close to the front of the stage puts him exactly where he needs to be as Yungblud leaves the ground.

Within Good Energy, this photograph is less about showing the audience directly and more about the energy being thrown towards them. The crowd may sit outside the frame, but Yungblud's movement makes the live setting unmistakable.

The photograph has been reproduced by White Duck Editions in Bath as a five-layer silkscreen print on heavyweight 350gsm stock. Its stark monochrome treatment and portrait format give the airborne figure plenty of space, while the grain and stage lighting retain the character of the original live photograph.

Only 100 prints have been produced, each individually hand signed by Yungblud and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
