On 27 March 2000, Roger Daltrey brought together an extraordinary line-up of musicians for what would become the first Teenage Cancer Trust concert at the Royal Albert Hall. What began as a single benefit show has since grown into one of the world's most celebrated charity concert series, raising millions of pounds to support young people with cancer.
The evening featured a landmark performance by The Who alongside special guests including Eddie Vedder, Noel Gallagher, Paul Weller, Bryan Adams and Kelly Jones. With unforgettable performances of classics including Pinball Wizard, Substitute, Baba O'Riley, Won't Get Fooled Again and My Generation, the concert laid the foundations for a remarkable musical legacy that continues today.
