The Snuts OVO Hydro Band Signed Photographic Print

A packed OVO Hydro, a stage covered in confetti and The Snuts in the middle of it all. Photographer Cameron Brisbane captures the Scottish band playing one of Glasgow's biggest venues in this limited-edition print from Teenage Cancer Trust's Good Energy series.

Formed in West Lothian, The Snuts built their following through years of touring before their debut album W.L. reached number one on the UK Albums Chart in 2021. Burn the Empire followed in 2022, with Millennials arriving in 2024 as the band's first album released independently through their own Happy Artist Records.

Brisbane's black-and-white photograph is taken from the stage, with the band playing in the foreground and the Hydro crowd filling the space behind them. A huge burst of confetti catches the light above the audience, while the wide-angle view takes in the musicians, their shadows across the stage and thousands of people beyond the barrier.

It's exactly the kind of moment Good Energy is about: not simply documenting a band on stage, but capturing the atmosphere around a live performance and the audience at the heart of it. Here, the scale of the Hydro and Brisbane's position amongst the band allow both sides of the show to exist in the same photograph.

Brisbane has photographed The Snuts extensively, documenting the band on stage as their live shows have grown in size. That familiarity shows here. He's close enough to place us amongst the musicians without losing the enormous crowd in front of them.

The photograph has been reproduced as an A2 five-layer silk screen print on 350gsm stock by White Duck Editions in Bath. The monochrome treatment works particularly well with the strong stage lighting, deep blacks and mass of detail in the crowd.

Limited to 100 copies, each print is individually hand signed by The Snuts and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
