This signed Levellers setlist comes from the band’s hometown show at Hove Park, Brighton on 5 September 2026, a special outdoor concert celebrating 35 years of Levelling the Land. The band themselves described the album as deeply connected to Brighton and its surroundings, making Hove Park a particularly fitting place to mark the anniversary.
The show drew heavily from that landmark record, with songs including One Way, The Game, Fifteen Years, The Boatman, Liberty Song, Far From Home, Sell Out, Another Man’s Cause, The Road, The Riverflow and Battle of the Beanfield all appearing in the set. Later in the night came Hope St., Just the One and Beautiful Day, with The Meffs joining the band for This Garden.
The Levellers emerged from Brighton at the end of the 1980s, combining folk instrumentation, punk energy and politically charged songwriting into a sound that quickly became their own. Levelling the Land remains one of the defining records of their career, and more than three decades later songs from it still form the backbone of their live shows.
Signed by the band, the setlist comes directly from the Hove Park show itself, making it a small but genuine piece of the night and of the 35th anniversary celebrations around Levelling the Land.
