This my bloody valentine signed artist proof gig poster commemorates the band's performance at London's Royal Albert Hall on 27 March 2026, as part of Teenage Cancer Trust's concert series curated by Robert Smith of The Cure. Designed by acclaimed graphic artist Andy Vella, the striking A2 silkscreen print features oversized, overlapping typography in fluorescent pink and electric blue against a dark, textured background.

Few bands have had quite the impact on alternative music as my bloody valentine. Led by guitarist Kevin Shields, the Irish-English group transformed the possibilities of guitar-driven music with their combination of heavily processed guitars, ethereal vocals and extraordinary sonic density. Their landmark 1991 album Loveless remains a defining record of the shoegaze movement, while Isn't Anything and their long-awaited 2013 album m b v cemented their reputation as one of alternative rock's most uncompromising and influential acts.

Their Royal Albert Hall performance brought that unmistakable sound to Teenage Cancer Trust's 2026 concert series, with a set spanning their catalogue. Alongside favourites including 'Only Shallow', 'When You Sleep', 'To Here Knows When' and 'Soon', the band closed with 'You Made Me Realise', a song renowned for its extended passages of overwhelming guitar noise.

The artwork comes from Andy Vella, whose creative partnership with The Cure stretches back to the early 1980s. Responsible for some of the band's most recognisable visual work, including the artwork for The Head on the Door and Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Vella has helped shape the visual language surrounding Robert Smith's music. His design for my bloody valentine takes a distinctly typographic approach, fragmenting and layering the band's name across a vivid composition that incorporates imagery of the Royal Albert Hall.

Commissioned and published by Teenage Cancer Trust, this artist proof has been hand-signed by all four members of my bloody valentine: Kevin Shields, Bilinda Butcher, Debbie Googe and Colm Ó Cíosóig. The seven-colour silkscreen print was produced by White Duck Editions in Bath on 300gsm Arctic Matt paper, with fluorescent inks giving the finished artwork its distinctive intensity.
