Manic Street Preachers Glow In The Dark Autographed Print

This Manic Street Preachers signed print was created for the band’s Teenage Cancer Trust show at the Royal Albert Hall on 26 March 2026, a particularly important night in our concert history. Their performance marked the 150th Teenage Cancer Trust show at the Royal Albert Hall, part of a week curated by Robert Smith of The Cure.

The artwork comes from Andy Vella, whose long-running creative partnership with The Cure made him a natural fit for the 2026 poster series. For this piece, he layers a graphic treatment of the Royal Albert Hall with loose, almost handwritten marks that cut across the image in bright turquoise. Against the darker blue and red ground, the result feels restless and immediate rather than polished or decorative.

There is another detail you only fully appreciate once the lights go down: the print includes a special glow in the dark layer. It adds a completely different dimension to the artwork, giving parts of the design a second life after dark and making the physical print feel much more involved than a standard reproduction.

The Manics’ set drew heavily on the breadth of their catalogue, opening with Motorcycle Emptiness and taking in songs including Roses in the Hospital, A Design for Life, Everything Must Go, You Love Us and If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next. They also performed The Cure’s ‘Close to Me’ for the first time, a fitting nod to Robert Smith’s role in shaping the 2026 week.

By 2026, Manic Street Preachers were more than three decades into a career that had moved from the confrontational early records through the huge success of Everything Must Go and This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours, and on into one of the most enduring bodies of work in British alternative rock. That history made them a fitting choice for such a significant Teenage Cancer Trust milestone.

Vella’s connection to the wider 2026 visual identity is worth noting too. He has worked with The Cure since the 1980s and is responsible for artwork associated with records including Faith, The Head on the Door and Disintegration. For Teenage Cancer Trust’s 2026 shows, he developed a series of bold, collage-led visuals inspired by the Royal Albert Hall, the artists and the charity itself.

This limited-edition Manic Street Preachers Royal Albert Hall print was commissioned and published by Teenage Cancer Trust and is restricted to just 100 copies. Each one is hand signed by James Dean Bradfield, Nicky Wire and Sean Moore, printed by White Duck Editions in Bath and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
