Kasabian – Fire Live at the Royal Albert Hall | Limited Edition 10" Pink Vinyl The first release in the Teenage Cancer Trust 10" Singles Club, this limited-edition pressing captures Kasabian performing "Fire" live at the Royal Albert Hall on 25 March 2023.
Kasabian have a long history with Teenage Cancer Trust, first appearing at the Royal Albert Hall shows in 2007 and returning in 2009, 2013, 2018 and 2023. Their 2023 headline set ran through more than two decades of the band's music, from Club Foot and Processed Beats to Underdog, Vlad the Impaler and L.S.F.. Then, for the final song of the night, came Fire.
Originally released in 2009 on West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum, Fire has become one of Kasabian's defining tracks and a fixture of their live shows. This release takes the performance from Show 131 in the Teenage Cancer Trust Royal Albert Hall series and puts it on vinyl for the first time as part of a new collection celebrating 25 years of extraordinary performances at the venue.
Pressed on 10-inch pink vinyl and limited to only 250 copies, the record has been designed as an object in its own right. The B-side features an etched version of Jamie Hewlett's Teenage Cancer Trust mascot, connecting the release directly to the charity and its music heritage.
The live recording was mixed by Gareth Johnson at Stand Alone Productions and mastered by Ade Emsley at Table of Tone Mastering, with creative direction by Hingston Studio.
As the first release in the Singles Club, it's also the starting point for a wider series. Each release takes an exclusive live recording from Teenage Cancer Trust's Royal Albert Hall archive and gives it its own limited-edition coloured 10-inch pressing, creating a physical record of some of the performances that have defined the shows since they began in 2000.
