James Arthur Autographed Print
Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall
Created for James Arthur’s Teenage Cancer Trust performance at the Royal Albert Hall in March 2025, this signed limited-edition print was designed by Balinese illustrator Cokorda Martin. Rather than centring the artwork on a portrait, Martin gives the poster its own identity, combining a spread-winged eagle, ornamental floral details and warped retro lettering in a vivid blue, yellow and black palette.
There is a strong vintage gig-poster feel to the design, but it never slips into pastiche. The eagle dominates the composition, while the date and Royal Albert Hall are worked into the lower border, rooting the artwork firmly in the night it was created to celebrate. The result is bold, decorative and immediately recognisable as a piece of concert artwork rather than standard artist merchandise.
James Arthur arrived at the Royal Albert Hall more than a decade into a career that had already produced two UK number one singles and two UK number one albums. From the breakthrough success of Impossible to Say You Won’t Let Go, his catalogue has been built around direct, emotionally driven songwriting and a voice that has become instantly recognisable. His 2024 album Bitter Sweet Love returned him to the top of the UK Albums Chart, adding another major milestone ahead of his Teenage Cancer Trust appearance.
The artwork comes from Cokorda Martin, an illustrator and designer based in Bali, Indonesia. Working professionally since 2013, Martin has created work across illustration, branding and commercial design, including collaborations with international fashion, music and lifestyle brands. His style often brings together bold graphic shapes, hand-drawn detail and strong typography, all of which come through clearly in this poster.
The print forms part of Teenage Cancer Trust’s History of Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall series, celebrating the artists and performances that have helped shape the charity’s long-running programme at the venue since 2000. Each poster captures a specific show through original artwork, creating a visual record of the artists who have performed in support of young people with cancer.
