Getdown Services 'Cha Cha Slide' Signed Song Print
This Getdown Services signed print takes Cha Cha Slide and turns it into a bold typographic artwork created with Adam Bridgland. The song title is spread across three lines in Bridgland’s loose, hand-drawn lettering, set against a dense field of emerald green glitter.
The three-line title gives the print its rhythm, with the lettering sitting over a surface that feels much more tactile than a flat typographic piece. There’s a knowingly playful edge to it that suits Getdown Services, a band whose songs and live shows often mix sharp observations with irreverent humour.
The duo, Ben Sadler and Josh Law, have built a growing following around a mix of disco, rock, funk and offbeat songwriting. Their debut album Crisps arrived in 2023, followed by further releases and increasingly high-profile live dates. In 2027 they are set to support Harry Styles in Berlin as part of his Together, Together tour, a significant step for a band that has grown quickly from its Bristol roots.
The artwork continues Teenage Cancer Trust’s ongoing collaboration with Adam Bridgland, using song titles and lyrics as the starting point for limited-edition glitter screen prints. Bridgland’s work often centres on language, memory and familiar phrases, making him a natural fit for a series that turns musical lines into standalone pieces of art.
Produced on heavyweight 300gsm Somerset Satin, this edition is limited to 100 copies. Each print is hand signed by Getdown Services and Adam Bridgland and finished with emerald green glitter.
