Eddie Vedder Wrigley Field 2016 Signed Photographic Print

$595.00

This Eddie Vedder signed print captures one of the most recognisable live performers of his generation in full flight.

Photographed by Danny Clinch during Pearl Jam’s 2016 shows at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Vedder is frozen above the stage with the stadium crowd stretching out behind him. It is the kind of image that feels almost impossible to time perfectly, which is exactly why it works.

Wrigley Field carries particular meaning for Vedder. Chicago is his hometown, and Pearl Jam’s 2016 performances there became the subject of Let’s Play Two, Danny Clinch’s film documenting the band’s relationship with the city, the Cubs and the stadium during the team’s historic World Series season. Clinch filmed and photographed both Wrigley shows, capturing Pearl Jam across a career-spanning set of songs and one of the most significant venues in Vedder’s own story.

For Teenage Cancer Trust, the connection goes back even further. Eddie Vedder performed at the very first Teenage Cancer Trust Royal Albert Hall concert in 2000, joining Roger Daltrey, The Who, Noel Gallagher, Bryan Adams, Paul Weller, Nigel Kennedy and Kelly Jones. He has continued to support the charity over the years, returning for other shows and appearing again as part of Roger Daltrey’s Ovation concert in 2024.

That history makes this print especially meaningful within the Good Energy series. It is not simply a striking Pearl Jam photograph chosen for the collection. Danny Clinch generously donated an image from a career-defining live moment, and Eddie Vedder has hand signed the finished edition in support of a charity he has been connected to since the beginning of its Royal Albert Hall story.

Clinch is one of the defining music photographers of the last few decades, with work appearing in Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, GQ, Esquire and on hundreds of album covers. His subjects have ranged from Johnny Cash and Tupac Shakur to Björk and Bruce Springsteen, but his relationship with Pearl Jam has been particularly extensive. He also directed Let’s Play Two, making this photograph part of a much broader body of work documenting the band on stage and off.

The photograph has been produced as an A2 giclée print on heavyweight 300gsm stock by White Duck Editions in Bath. The edition is limited to just 100 copies, each hand signed by Eddie Vedder and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.

A huge thank you to Danny Clinch for donating the image, and to Eddie Vedder for continuing to support Teenage Cancer Trust.
