Depeche Mode 2010 Royal Albert Hall Gig Poster

For Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall

$40.00

Created to celebrate Depeche Mode's Teenage Cancer Trust performance at the Royal Albert Hall on 17 February 2010, this limited-edition gig poster by Chris Skinner captures one of the standout nights in the charity's concert history.

Skinner reimagines the Royal Albert Hall as part of a vast, mechanical landscape, surrounded by streaks of light, orbiting structures and a dark central void. The familiar architecture of the venue is still there, but transformed into something much more futuristic and dramatic. It feels completely at home with Depeche Mode's world: precise, atmospheric, slightly ominous and built on scale.

The show itself was a major moment for Teenage Cancer Trust. Depeche Mode brought their Tour of the Universe production to the Royal Albert Hall for a special benefit performance, with The Horrors joining them as guests. The set reached across three decades of music, including Wrong, Walking in My Shoes, Policy of Truth, Enjoy the Silence, Never Let Me Down Again and Personal Jesus. There was also a particularly memorable moment when Alan Wilder returned to the stage with Depeche Mode for a performance of Somebody, making the night even more significant for long-time fans.

By 2010, Depeche Mode were already firmly established as one of the most influential electronic bands in British music. From the stark synth-pop of their early years through to darker, more expansive records such as Music for the Masses, Violator and Songs of Faith and Devotion, their music had helped shape everything from alternative rock to electronic pop. Their Royal Albert Hall appearance brought that history into one of the most important venues in the Teenage Cancer Trust story.

This Depeche Mode Royal Albert Hall poster was commissioned and published by Teenage Cancer Trust as part of our History of Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall series, celebrating the artists and performances that have helped define the concerts since 2000.

Printed by Prints of Thieves in Leeds, the artwork was produced as a two-colour screen print on GF Smith Peregrina Majestic Anthracite 290gsm stock and is limited to just 100 numbered copies.
